So I've been thinking and discussing things with a few friends. And I've come up with an idea. Wanted to see what everyone thinks.

So on my 75th AE PW, I have the block stickers on the doors and tailgate. But looking at the sticker, there is a bunch of "extra" clear sticker that just stands out. And of course we all know, that sticker will eventually start to peel. Or if I peel it off a few years down the road, the paint underneath will be a different color.

SO I'm thinking to remove the sticker, and have the "Power Wagon" painted on instead. It would look cleaner and last longer.

But which way do I go? Have someone hand paint it ala "pinstriping"?

Or have a stencil cut out to match the factory letter style and have it sprayed and clear coat?

I'm leaning more to the stencil so that it looks factory.

The other delima is since I have a monotone, do I lower the letter on the door down to below the belt line?
Or leave them in the factory position?

My original plan when I ordered the truck was get the mono tone paint, have the stickers not installed but delivered, and put them on the back doors below the bely line.

But once I got the truck, I noticed that the factory sticker doesn't stand out as much as I thought it would on the door.

So what are your thoughts?
What would you do? A different idea?

Thanks for any input.

Can you order a second set of stickers to keep and replace later if it peels? The stickers never peeled on my old Sport. I like the way your truck looks now, but I would be tempted to just remove the stickers and not replace them. Or do something completely custom.

I think the painted w/ 75th Anniversary would look really good. AND, set your truck apart from the others. Nothing outrageous, just small and tasteful!

I seen a guy at a body shop who had all his sticker decals stripped off his brand new Ford Raptor and had the body shop painted real decals on with an air brush.

Very Sweet!

But looking at the rest of the custom work that the guy did, I dare not ask how much he put in his so called, Collector Raptor.

The PW-75 when it lands, is mono Black and if its not a King’s Ransom, I may consider
Crusty’s idea.

******For those who are still interested in PW-75 (toned down and not loaded) two dealers in Ontario, Canada had just listed the PW-75.

I have a painter/airbrush master here locally.
He did a custom candy paint job on my wifes truck I built for her years ago.
Took him a year so he airbrushed this tinkerbell on it for her for free.
Had to get the truck repainted after a accident. They didnt make the original candy color anymore so we had to get another color. Funny part is we had to get new rims and the trim rings were painted. We found the same color and had the truck painted to match. Another guy painted it, but my guy saved the tinkerbell and made it blend it.
Most people think it's a sticker, I tell them to look closer.

So what about this.
75th shield, but just say 75 years. Leave the Power Wagon off the top.
Then the PW logo. But on the door, move it below the belt line.
