Power Wagon delays

Hi. Any updates?
I just got off the phone with the dealer they have no new updates they said that they have reached out to the FCA rep to try and get some answers.

Obviously I’m worried about the retooling for the 2022s I specifically ordered the 75th anniversary edition if they push it to a 2022 I’ll end up cancelling my order

No updates yet.

Started to look at other options such as other RAMs but, the selection here is minimal.

I had a Billet silver rebel picked out, leather , that sick sunroof , 12 “ touchscreen, bed group, running boards, midnight edition etc etc.

Loaded and nice and aggressive, but I decided I like the olive green 75A a little more.

now the rebels are slim pickings too lmao.
Oh well I mean I cant complain im driving a 2021 LT Trail Boss 6.2l Midnight edition.

I just like new things, in a timely fashion.
I feel like they dont want to rush to build my truck because I used an EC Control number , So I get it at cost plus incentives.

So the news finally hits.
They arent building anymore 2021 PW.
If you have a build and its not already schedule with a vin its going to go to a 2022.

My dealer told me they will honour the 75A package on 2022 models that were ordered.
Now the issue will be how long of a wait is it for the 2022 , they dont retool until near the end of July.

sigh.

As long as the 75A package is intact along with the price, I think we’re good.

You are MSRP protected but not incentive and interest rate protected .

So it could end up costing more , likely will.

SAD NEWS....

2021 POWER Wagon 75th Anniversary ordered March 30, 2021 is a BUST!!

Dealer advised that the build will become 2022 build without the 75th Anniversary badging.

Options should stay in tact.

Messaged RAM Care in hopes of some care for orders in Canadian rafters.

Interesting. I ordered mine on April 13th and picked it up on the June 4th. Guess that is a Canadian thing or they didn't really order it at that time?

Damn, that's brutal bud. I suppose the silver lining is that the level 3 option package now being a thing, is a thing!

That blows.
How did they not build it?
my order for my 75th went in on 4/21. Dealer said it should be here today.
Ram Chat told bme a few weeks ago it was awaiting shipment. So at least I know its built and on the way.

On another note, since they are basically making the 75th package available on the '22's, even the special grill, that kind of defeats the reason for making the 75th package. Kind of downplays the 75th that we bought.

Yeah. They ordered it as a VON was produced and order date confirmed on the POC (Price Order Confirmation).

Attempts made to RAM Chat, RAM Customer Care in US and Canada but no help as I was referred back to selling dealer.

I ordered mine first week in January, they contacted me,told me it was built...first "delivery date"was second week in May,came and went, then it was first week in June, came and went....now they're telling me end of june....It's getting rediculous, glad I never put down the $8000 deposit they asked for lol!!

The $780 LinkedIn Question…..

If only we can send a memo to Senior Brand Management Staff of RAM Heavy Duty Truck at Stellantis and see what their thoughts of the Canadian orders being held in the rafters.

Or will they even care of the Canadian Market.

Glad I ordered my 75A when did... I got build #1182.

Ordered Jan 25th, picked up April 21st. I was going to wait until June...but glad I didn't.

Sorry to hear DYNADAVE! Ordered in January and haven't received it yet! Very odd....

I had a WRX a few years back blow up with 9700 miles on it. I wrote quite the letter to the President of Subaru North America, and the service I received was unreal. He had one of his guys reach out to me constantly while they replaced damn near every part of that car that has to do with moving.

I don't think it could hurt you to do that, at all.

I actually just did the same thing to the UT DMV and Tax Commission recently. Got quite the response from a surprisingly high titled state employee too.

I'm a writer by trade though, so it's my go-to for airing of grievances.

A few things from the 75th Anniversary Edition don't seem to carry over to the Level 3 Package. Buyers don't get the 17-inch bead-lock capable wheels and rock rails. Although, this equipment is part of the existing Power Wagon Off-Road Package. Mopar Insiders notes that the LED projector headlights don't appear to come with the Level 3 Package, like on the Anniversary Edition.

Yea, but the grill on the 75th is part of the package. I think that should have been left as just for the 75th as it's the main outside appearance part that makes it unique.
