Power Wagon delays

The other thing was bed utility adds 3 weeks because it gets shipped to a different location to get those items put on. Originally I was ok with that.
Now these bed steps are going to hold up the build.

I said the hell with it, took that package off added LED bed lights and the dealer is going to Line x when it arrives. The only thing I wont have is that step.

Does the dealer have the line x product? I’m waiting so far 6 weeks on some line x product

Yeah , there is actually a Line x location just down the street from my dealer. They send it there . It comes with a better warranty and they put more liner on , even do the gap between the bed and the tailgate which the factory liner doesnt get applied.

Well "Blind spot and cross path detection" (and safety group) is a line item on the buildsheet that was populated yesterday, and since the sheet was created, it's safe to assume the build is complete based on order of operations.

The liner may take some time, but that's okay. Can't do much about it at this point, either way. Truck is either there, or heading there, right now.

I contact my dealer on Thursdays for updates, and RAMChat on Fridays, so I can follow up end of week with another update.

Hey There, what status is your order at?
I had my PW put in on March 30 with all options and it’s sitting in BX status.

Dealer told me that my PW (75th Anniversary) may take a bit of time but, I’m hoping that I may get lucky on the build.

I'll have to let you know on Thursday, or Friday, when I reach out to my dealer. As of last Thursday, my dealer said I was "D1 - should be built any day now, updated ship date of 4/26 from 4/30". Obviously, that updated ship date was not a reality, however we'll see what happens in regards to the original date. Looking at this list here, I'm somewhere just beyond 'Built - J' as I got my Build sheet yesterday. My guess/assumption is I'm now at 'JB' or 'JB/KZP'.

Im in bx as well, however, I was already prepared for it to take a while. These are taking over 4 months to build in many cases .
 
Screenshot_20210430-065001_Drive.jpgWindow sticker showed up online last night. I sent an email to my dealer for a status update, but unfortunately I haven't heard back yet. I'll check with RAMChat today as well. Seems to be moving well though.

As you can see, all of the safety group items are present.

Just gotta keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't hit a roadblock moving forward, lol.

Edit: RAMChat told me the following: "I can see your order is in transit to your dealer! We have an ETA window of 05/14/2021 - 05/28/2021!"

Is that CARB portion of the window sticker something that all California bound vehicles receive?

Just curious, as mine had a fueleconomy.gov statement in that same area stating "Heavy duty vehicle, no label required".

No idea, I'm in UT and picking up the truck in WA.

Interesting you have ordered the same truck as me. Colour and all.
1 day apart.
But You added the safety package.
Yours is monotone though , I cant help but wonder if thats why yours is progressing so rapidly.

Checked with dealer this afternoon and sadly to report....my order is still in BX status at week 4.

I didnt check back in but as of Monday I was bx . Going to wait.
Maybe check in mid to late next week.

Just found out that 2 other PW orders (one before and one after my order) are all in BX Status as well. Here’s hoping the orders will be released and scheduled soon.

I agree. The expected ship date was provided by the dealer. An email from US Customer Care provided an estimated delivery to the dealer on the week of 6/12/2021. Given all that I have read this does seem fast. We will see...but not holding my breath.

Update: truck is being built now, currently in framing. Schedule to ship May 7th. If that holds, it will ship approximately 4 weeks and a few days from the order date.

That’s amazing. That’s approximately 4.5 times faster than ARE can make a topper, apparently.
