Power Running Board Amp vs RC

Just curious if anyone has any feedback. Looking to get power running boards and the Rough Country ones are about half the cost of the amp ones. Everything looks good on them, reviews seem good etc but I’d have to assume they’re lower quality at that big a price difference.

Anyone have any feedback on one vs the other?

I wish I could add a bit more, but I’ve only had AMP Research boards, and only for a couple of months. But so far they’re incredible. Very sturdy, great traction, wide, and hide almost completely away under the truck.

In comparison, my dad has a new King Ranch F350, and I like the AMPs better than his factory power boards…

About to trade her in on a 2025 3500 with the Cummins and it comes with the factory or I would have gone with the RC again!

I've had Amp steps on 3 different trucks. Chevy, Ford and Ram. No issues.
Ram does tuck in better than the other 2, almost unseen. Look on Ebay to find the best price on them.

Appreciate it everyone. Went ahead and ordered the rough country ones. Slightly worried I’ll regret going with the cheaper option but they were significantly cheaper and I couldn’t find any negative reviews anywhere. Excited to get them on, truck looks so much cleaner when the steps are tucked in vs the standard fixed ones
