Possible upgrade?

My 2019 3500 come with a 8.4 Uconnect without navigation but equipped gps antenna. The model is vp2. Is it possible to upgrade to vp3 or 4?

The GPS antenna is a standard option that's put in for aftermarket GPS accessories.
I'm not saying that given an unlimited budget it couldnt be done, but for what you'd pay, if navigation is what you're after, it may be worth just taking a look at using the google android auto or apple car play feature your truck has.
Even a dedicated aftermarket GPS would be more economical.
Save the money, just get the 12" next time and be done.
Uconnect is best ordered the way you want it to be and left alone.

In the 4th gen trucks you could pay the dealer to unlock the nav function if you had the 8.4. Have you asked the dealer if they could do that?

it cant be done on the 19(the unlock/software upgrade)
