Possible bad brakes?

I just got a 2022 ram 2500 6.4L. It's my first HD truck ever. I love the truck but I have some concern with the brakes. Ide say the first half of the pedal travel, like normal driving conditions, it seems perfectly fine. However once I pass a certain point, it's like it can't apply anymore stopping force. I even tried a few times to lock up the brakes just to see if they could from about 40mph and even standing on the brakes they wouldn't completely stop the tires from rotating, abs never kicked on either. I know I can't expect a 2500 to feel the same as a 1500. But I also feel like it's not where it should be either. Is this just normal and something I need to get used to? Or is there possibly something wrong?

I’ve always felt the brakes on my 3500 are mushy but I have to say it does stop when you really get into it and the ABS will kick in. At least I have experienced it.

And you’re still under warranty. When you take it in next, have them check it out.
