I have a 2019 ram 2500 big horn 6.4 hemi 4x4 with crew cab. under heavy acceleration (especially on a hill) there is a popping sound under my feet or near front left wheel area. Its not a single pop, but numerous times until you back off the throttle. I suspect cab mounts, ?? dealer had it in and replaced bushings called a "Link Kit". did not fix the problem. They have had it a week now, and say they cant narrow down where its coming from. Mechanic says he has checked and everything is tight. This truck only has 6000 miles on it . anyone else had this issue ? I would really like to get my truck back, before i make the 2nd payment :(

Hi @Lewis1963 - Please know that our team is a private message away and we are more than willing to escalate a case on your behalf to a specialist who can work alongside both you and your dealer while your truck is in service.

Thank you. I will be going by there later to see if there has been any progress. Unfortunately for them, i work just a block away from the dealer, and pass by there several times a day, my truck is sitting outside way more than being looked at. Ive only went by there on one occassion and seen someone under it on the lift...Really hoping someone reads the post and has experienced the same issue.

I've got the same issue on my '19 2500. I usually feel it when off road, or when entering a parking lot from the street, and the transition is substantial. It also only happens when I hit the transition at an angle (one tire at a time). Dealership looked at it several times, kept the truck for a week, but nothing. They even replaced the body mounts under the cab, also stating there was nothing wrong with the original ones.

Last Friday they had a Tech from RAM / Chrysler come to the dealership, he told them to replace the center cab mounts. Gotta wait another 8 days for parts to arrive. Surely hoping it gets fixed this time...I was only hearing this when the truck was under a heavy torque, like accellerating hard from dead stop, or when my trailor was connected with some weight pulling off. I did hear it one other time when i hit a pothole in the road at highway speed. The mechanic had already said that the cab mounts were tight earlier... so we will see
If this resolves the problem, ill post it

Same thing happens on my passenger side when transitioning to a parking lot, one single pop when the drivers side goes up the ramp 1st.

figure anything out yet?

Yes. I didnt know until yesterday, i got my truck back from dealer. Chrysler rep had them replace all cab mounts. All the mechanics kept telling me they did not believe that was the issue, but as it turned out it was. The noise is now gone. Mechanic said the center cab mount , even thogh it was tight, was probably the suspect because it was rusty when they removed it. This was the mount under my feet.

Not yet, waiting for this -25C weather to pass before I address it again.
