Didn't notice this at first and only had this for a little over a month, the front bumper and body panel above the head lights are not aligned evenly on both sides.
The bumper is lower and not even on the passenger side, and there is a bigger gap both between the bumper and the headlight bodywork and fender.
Having searched this online it seems to have been a frequent issue, especially on the sports package that I have.
So I figured I would just loosen the mounts and align... cannot as the locating pin fits exactly in one place, although I could have elongated the hole or cut of the locating pin this was a new truck with less than 1000 miles so I took it back to dealer. They are so far agreeing it is wrong and is booked in for correction in the coming weeks. Will see what they do as I read mixed reports. It is minor and not sa major concern but does show poor workmanship and QC from the dealers.

Pictures may not be clear but if anyone want closer pictures or picture of the locating pins and mounts I can try, it just didn't seem obvious in pictures so I deleted them.

Looks like I better take a look at mine. I had mine dealer traded in from Portland. Turns out that dealer lent it to the local HS for the homecoming parade. I found appx 8 dimples/dents in my roof where either someone crawled up there or some jock beat his fist. Dealer offered free paintless dent removal. WTF?? Anyways. Maybe my Sport will be spending more time in there?

It’s a manufacturing issue and not a dealer caused issue and it’s happening with almost every manufacturer these days. It could be the difference between a truck built on a Friday as opposed to one built say on a Tuesday, it would be interesting to find the statistic out there on this.

My brother just picked up a new Ford truck and his gaps are just as bad. On my Ford company truck i noticed that some of the aluminum panels have long sweeping bends on the corners but yet they butt up against a tight 90° bend. I’m wondering if this is happening because aluminum is a much harder material to work with and the manufacturers are widening their QC standards due to this??

I will confirm hopefully this week but from what I can see this is just poor manufacturing. There is a locating pin on both sides with no rom to adjust position. These are seated correctly so looks like the hole needs to be opened up or the pin removed then the bumper will be moveable to get the correct fit.

Will see what the dealer body shop does and will let all know.

Hopefully you can get this addressed at the dealer.
I took mine in today, they addressed the main bumper fitment, this is now correct but claimed they could not adjust the fitment above the headlight.
I will get a second opinion at some point at a body shop but that part is not as noticeable.

They did not tell me what they did but at the weekend I will get underneath and take a look at where the locating pin is to see if the modified it
