Poll: Remove 4x4 Off Road decal from rear or leave it?

Remove 4x4 Off Road Decal?

I aint going to lie, i am nervous about removing my 4x4 sticker. Just dont want to scratch truck or even worst get half of sticker off and 2nd half not want to come off. So if convince myself: little hairdryer heat then just try to start a corner/peel, remove goo, clay and wax to match? Once started does it come up pretty easy?

Comes right off. A little heat. Clay bar afterwards.

OP, nice looking truck. I agree with your choice, however I chose to keep my "TRD 4X4 Offroad" sticker on my 2016 Tacoma, but chose to keep it on because that look was normal for the TRD Tacoma version. I'm not sure what the "4x4 Off road" means for the Ram, are there specific options only with that?

Best I can tell is I bought a $500.00 sticker, so I am gonna keep mine!!! Lol

Done: Holy crap that was easy! Didnt even have goo to deal with, wiped with detailer then spray wax and cant even see where it was, thanks for talking me into it guys as it looks so much better (goofy silver sticker on a NE looked stupid).

I still can’t get over the “turd” stickers on toy trucks.LOL!
 
Yes, it was a decision I strugled with, but the capabilties of the TRD Offraod Tacoma is not subtle. Crawl control and rear locking diff as standard, for the Tacoma 4X4 offroad is significant, so I chose to keep the lettering.
 
Tuned shocks, and hill decent control is so subtle, you wouldn't even know it most of the life of the Ram offroad package.
 
I removed the rear fender stock decals from a previous Ram and put on grey "tattered flag" decals. About the same size as the Offroad and 4x4 stock decals, subdued. I may do that with the next one. I don't have a digital pic of that truck, but the result looked similar to this.

Toyota bought/stole GM engine secrets, when Joe Gibs, who was paid an undisclosed amount from Toyota NASCAR teams (Toyota Racing Deleveloment), moved from Chevy to Toyota and Gibbs took his top Chevy engine engineer. I remember it well, Toyota NASCAR teams couldn't compete with the big three, until Gibbs was bought off by Toyota.

I told the dealer I wanted to order one without the decals, they said they wouldn’t do it because if I back out it’s harder for them to sell when it’s missing the decals, but they would remove the decals for me if I bought it.
They convinced me to leave the lot with the decals on and give it a shot for a week....I had them remove the decals a week later lol.

I’m still even thinking about taking off the giant RAM lettering on the tailgate.

I don't mind the decal on the tailgate but the bed ones look goofy/cheesy/cheap take your picks :)

If a dealer refused to order exactly what I wanted on my custom order I'd move along and give a different dealer my business. That said I much prefer the PW sticker to a nude PW but I do think it looks better on some colors than others. The "Off-road" sticker on the other hand isn't as iconic.

I hate the gaudy ram on the tailgates.

I get it. You aren’t 100% committed to an order, and there is no cost to having/not having the decals, and they weren’t going to charge to remove them.

that said I ended up buying one they had in transit that ticked most of the boxes I wanted(would have liked carpet Delete, bed lights, dual alternators), and got a really good deal on it.

To each his own on the decals...to me they are a bit gaudy and draw too much attention.
