Please Post Payload Sticker from Driver's Door Jamb.

Here’s a dumb question, would your payload number be different for say, factory installed side steps versus a dealer installation after delivery.

Yes, every factory option effects payload.

Found this document in vehicle. Notice the shipping weight of 8623. If I do a little math 12300 - 8623 = 3677 cargo. However, my payload sticker says 3682. This tells me a few things one being the payload does not account for a driver, passenger(s) or full tank of fuel, if anyone thinks cargo value excludes this in its value. I will eventually weigh truck after I get all my personal stuff, hitch, bed cover, etc to confirm weights for towing, but happy with payload for SRW 3500. My 21 F-450 only had 4600 lbs payload (although that was more on paper as equipment ratings were far above this).

Oof. This doesn't look good for me... trying to stay at my current 3900ish in a SRW MC model. I'm going to have to go dually I'm afraid with the Limited/Mega/AirSuspension. Pin weight on my horse trailer is 3000# with the "small" 26' one. The one we're looking at is 33' with a 4000# pin weight.

Please post if you get it scaled. TIA.

Okay, finally found a 2500 Limited near me that I could drive and view the payload sticker. The news is just awful; 1,990 lb payload.

With our trailer's GVWR of 11,000 and 1,600 hitch weight, there doesn't appear to be any way a 2500 Limited is going to work for us as we'd only have 390 lbs of payload remaining. While we don't need the 5th Wheel / Gooseneck Towing Prep, we would like the RamBox, extra alternator, auto level air suspension, and deployable bed step. Does anyone know the weight of the sunroof or 5th Wheel / Gooseneck Towing Prep?

It's looking like if we're going to get a RAM, it'll have to be a 3500.
I had a 2019 Ram 2500 Limited. Its payload was similar. The 2025+ Ram 2500s all gained 850 lbs of payload. My 2025 Laramie Cummins has 2,932lbs of payload. The 3500s gained payload too.
