I included pictures of the stuff that pops up. The speedometer doesn't work, odometer doesn't work. I get the check engine light and I think the exhaust brake light. Speedo just has 4 dashes, it won't go into 4 wheel lock or low, no cruise control. Been to Ram they did a reflash but wanted the truck for a month. It drives fine and I never got concerned until I got stuck in the sand today. Didn't know the 4x4 didn't work. I'm currently in Crystal River Fl and can travel if anyone has a clue. I've had 3 techs look at it and no body knows anything.

P.S. It was perfect until I went to start it about 2 months ago and it was completely dead, bad battery. After getting it jumped all this crap happened.

Thanks Brady

Sure you will get suggestions, but for now I would remove your personal information so a bot does not scrape it or something and cause you all sorts of spammy headaches,

Have you checked all the fuses?
What are the codes you get with the CEL?

Disconnect the batteries for 30 minutes and then re-install. This should clear all codes and may fix it.

Well thanks, but how do I delete my info, it will only let me change my subject line.

Did that about 5 times and had the Dealer reflash the ECM

Seems like you have a bigger issue that would need some investigation with a scanner. Did you check every fuse to confirm its not a blown fuse or 2?

When O'Reilly's changed your batteries did they put those little red and green felt rings on the posts and a daub of dielectric grease? If they did, disconnect the batteries, remove the rings and clean the posts back to bare metal. Let it sit for a half hour and reconnect. I had a similar issue with my 2014 and my local mechanic did that and it cleared it up. Anecdotal evidence at best, but he said he has seen it on several vehicles, something about the dielectric grease causing spurious signals that affect the computer communications. I didn't fully understand it (not sure he did either) but it solved my issue. Doesn't cost anything to try... Good luck.

Any chance whoever jumped it hooked up the cables backwards the first time?
