Please help me decide +1 or +20 offset

Another thing to note, every tire has a min and max wheel width that it is recommended to be mounted on by the manufacturer. I went to an 18x9.5 with +12 offset wheel before I got new tires and I was really pushing the limits of those transforces to stretch. So check out the tires specs for recommended wheel width. Just food for thought.

Only because the sidewall is ballooned more
Actually, it was ballooned less. It was much more flat looking cuz it was wider at the wheel. Decided right then I would never by a 10" wheel again.

You would need a 14.5 wide tire for a 10 wheel to be proper fitment 12.5 are designed for 8-8.5 wheels typically and i ment less sorry not more

Unfortunately most of the manufacturers do not agree with that. When you view the published specifications from most manufacturers anything 12.50 and wider are measured mounted on 10" wheels.

Be aware that it actually changes depending on wheel diameter, smaller sidewall height you need a wider wheel

Maybe so, but I've not studied anything smaller than 17" wheels, but while looking at 17s, 18s and 20s (all options I'm still pondering), the same holds true.

I am refering to minimum wheel width not recommended btw i know back when i sold tires the 12.5s for 15-18s asked for a minimum of 8.5” wide wheel

I run these on 8.5" and perfect amount of sidewall bulge when aired down for offroad. approved rim width 8.5-11.0 with specs shown when mounted on a 10" rim

And, to compare, here is 295/70R18 Falken Wildpeak on 18x9 and +20 offset.
This should give a good comparison - my tires are about 12" wide, and the 325/65R18's that @andy posted are about 13" wide... so split the difference for 35x12.5's

I'm guessing a nitto grappler would pop a little more due to its more square edge. Do ever wish you would have gone more aggressive?

Actually the Falkens are a lot more aggressive in person than in pictures. Overall, I like the look, but I do think the nitto RGs are more aggressive.

But, a couple of other factors; I like the nitto RGs but they are not as good in the snow and ice as tires with the 3PMSF rating. 3PMSF narrowed it down to 3 contenders that I could get in the size I wanted; BFG KO2s, Goodyear Duratracs and the Falken Wildpeaks. Based on reviews, I went with the Falkens even though I never had them before. KO2s and Duratracs are good tires, but known to be noisy.

Happy for now; ask me in a year or two and we'll see ;)

I have been running 12.5" flavored tires in 33" and 35" tires on 15 x 8 and wheels for 40 years on my Jeeps with no problems. 37s on 17 x 8 on my trucks. Tire shop did mentioned it once. I discussed it with a manufacturer team at a show one year. They said not to worry about it. They did warn me about the old 16.5" wheels though. Something about the bead area being not designed right?

The issue you could face with a narrower wheel is cracking around the tread blocks on the sides of the tire thats it i used to run 8 wide wheels on 12.5 tires too with no issues, i have seen the cracking but usually only if its a 6.5 or 7” wheel with a 12.5 tire

I have a 2021 Olive Pearl 2500 on order and im looking at the identical Fuel Blitz(i think the dark bronze and green will look great) and tire options as you (3PMSF rated). Just curious what size of tires and offset did you go with? Do you have any suspension work done?

No suspension work done, and at this point I don't plan on any as I tow a 5th wheel so don't want to raise up any higher.
LT295/70R18 tires with 18x9 +20 wheels. No rubbing so far.

And the rims are interesting. The Fuel Blitz D674 is listed as "matte black", but in many pictures they do look bronze. Fortunately I could see them in person before I bought them or I might have chickened out and got the D675 gloss black. In some light, they do look more bronze, in other light they look like a dark grey and in certain light they actually look like matte black. Overall, I really like them and think they are a bit unique compared to the black of most rims. I think they would look really good on that Olive Pearl but you might want to see them in person if you can.
