For all the 2019+ Rams i have owned I have never watched the DPF screen.
For a "tech" to tell you to never shut your truck off during Regen is crazy town stuff. I would question his credentials.
I daily drive my 3500 DRW - 15 min each way to work... weekend running around town. I tow a 16K 5th wheel 5-6 times a year. I also leave my truck IDLE when I am running in to a store with my wife in the truck, fast food lines, traffic accidents that have backed up traffic, when I remote start....what "driving habits" of the average Cummins owner are bad?? If yo are going to Idle extended periods Cummins recommends turning your HIGH IDLE on.
Your Air Filter can negatively affect your Regens if you are not using one that does not flow to meet he specs the computer is looking for....be sure you use OEM or OEM equivalent air filters.
Stop the OCD and never look at the DPF screen. I had a 2024 Chevy 500 DRW that had no way to view the DPF...why? Because its futile to watch it. I have 375 idle hours and 823 Run hours....

. I change my oil at the 15-20% range.
