I’ve been getting “wipe off” notifications on my 19 PW for the front parking sensors…they are very clean and even after wiping them again, they are still showing the notifications. Has anyone found a fix for this or is this a trip to the dealership?

I've found that putting a little bit of Vaseline on your finger and rubbing counter-clock..... Wait wrong topic

Kidding aside.. Check connectors behind sensors for proper contact and/or corrosion on pins... If problem persists... Dealer unfortunately.

I hate to say it, but mine are usually turned off. I get tired of them going off because of something as silly as a dew drop forms on them overnight or a bug commits suicide on one of them. The rear just as bad because it has a conniption every time you have a trailer connected or the tailgate I’d down. How does the truck not know when a trailer is plugged in? It just becomes one of those boy who cries wolf type of deals.

Thanks for the responses. In another forum, it appears that several people have had the issue with no real improvement...I'll take it in to the dealer and see what they have to say.

Also... Find ALL of your fuses/relays and ensure they are all fully seated. You'd be surprised at how many "odd issues" have been cleared up because of this.

My rear sensor disables if you plug in a trailer.

If the front goes nuts backing with a trailer, there's an update in one of the TSB that will fix it. Same TSB fixes a lot including false driver input detection on lane sense.

it only knows if you have a trailer if the trailer has electric brakes otherwise it has no way of knowing the trailer is connected so if your trailer does not have brakes you have to manually turn them off

Yeah. My boat trailer has hydraulic surge brakes so no luck their. I’ve honesty just gotten used to using the camera because I don’t completely trust the sensors after all the false alarms.

You could put a 7pin on the trailer and set up a resistor to the brake pin that way it would trip the sensors off
