Parking sensor going off

The wife and I went out to dinner the other day and when we went to leave I started the truck and started backing out of my spot. The backup sensor tone started going off and did not stop, just going off constantly. I parked the truck, shut it off and got out to do a walk around to see if someone put something on one of the sensors but nothing. I got back in and restarted the truck and the tone was still going off. Luckily we were close to home so I just drove it home with the tone going off. Any ideas what the problem might be????????????

Not sure what the problem might be, but there is a sensor off switch on the dash.

Was it front or rear? Do you have a trailer hitch in?
I can't use my rear sensor when the bumper pull trailer hitch is in (all the time because I am pulling a trailer almost daily). I wish they would adjust for that...
