Painting Tow Hooks

I've used the search function but cannot find the thread I've seen before. Maybe it was in what did you do to your Ram today..
A trivial thing, but I've been thinking about painting the tow hooks on my (Bright White Night Edition) red. For something 'trivial', I sure have been back and forth and am having a hard time deciding if I want to do it. lol.
For those who have, do you regret doing it? Not a big thing to go back to black, other than the time and money.. Just fishing for others experience.
Or just voice your opinion on which you think looks better.

I was thinking of painting mine red also, I have the granite crystal night edition, I already put a red inlay on the Laramie badge on the tailgate and think the red tow hooks would look great. Just haven’t had the time or desire to fight with the bolts for the tow hooks....

Did you pull them out to paint them? They come out super easy. Anyway looks fine to me. rock on man, it’s your truck.
 
I personally like them red.

I'm with Rocky, it's your truck go for it. It's an easy fix to get them back to black

Has anyone found any aftermarket tow hooks that fit into the stock locations? I'm more interested in actual hooks than the loops that came from the factory.
 
Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk edition here in Canada comes with red tow hooks, looks good
 
Got an extra set and started painting them tonight.

Just a FYI. Chevys come stock with red hooks. So if you want your truck to be mistaken for a Chevy, go for it. :D :oops::)

But on a serious note, powder coating would be the best and hold up the longest.

I personally don't like the red - I would leave it black
 
That's why I bought an extra set instead of painting mine. I am not sure if I will like it or not and keep the option to go back to black.
