Every 60 miles or so I get a P2209 and engine check. I cleaned the DEF injector but the code returned. Took it to the dealer who said they cancelled the code and it should be right to go. I was also told this could relate to DEF which is showing about a third but thought the code related to the NOx heater. Any advice or suggestions please.

The code relates to the NOX sensors ability to maintain its heated value. The issue is strictly a function of sensor function. About the only thing that would affect it is flaky power or ground but that should likely set another NOX sensor code. I would separate the connector, clean the pins, ensure there are no pushed back pins, and reconnect. If it continues, consider replacing the sensor. The sensor and box are a paired unit so are replaced together.
