Well this is the 3rd time I've gotten this code. I've read all the others posts regarding the code. Mine is a 2019 and code showed up first time about 3 months ago. After reading it with the code reader it went away. A month later same thing and I was due for fuel filter and air filter change. So I changed filters all looked normal. Then about 1.5 weeks later it pops up again. It's only done it in colder weather <40F.

I haven't put the reader of this last one and have an appointment tomorrow at the dealer. I have noticed zero performance issues, or stutters, etc.

CP4 recall was done about 1.5 years ago.
Emissions recall VB6 was done even before that, 2020. This truck has been flawless for me except ball joints and batteries.

I would perform an injector flow return test to see if you have a bad injector

Well I took it to the dealer and they said there was a software update and it wasn't the emissions update. They wanted to apply that first and see if the code returns. I agreed.

So while I was there I looked at a 1500 Rebel. Here's the thing, I drive 10 miles to work each day. I have a 21ft bay boat that I pull 2 hours once a month. I don't really need a diesel 2500. The future repairs are scaring me somewhat. Like the hydraulic lifter issue, grid bolt, front end rebuild, emissions crap, etc.
They offered me $43k for my truck and the 2025 Rebel 1500 is $58k. Its a fair price for my truck and value will only go down from here.

Decisions, decisions.

Sounds like you really don’t need a 3/4 ton so it would be a better ride and a newer truck sounds like a win if your not emotionally attached to the 3/4 ton

Well it's done. Got 45k for the trade and 13k off sticker. Think I'm gonna love this newbie.
