So, I have just ordered my 1st Ram truck. 2023 3500 Limited Mega cab, 6.7L Cummins HO Turbo, Aisin, Diamond Black, Limited Leve 1 equipment group, Snow Chief Group, Night Edition, Tri-fold tonneau cover, Auto Level rear air suspension.
Besides weather tech floor mats, what else can I do to this new canvas?

I assume it comes with GrandPa tires on it, so new meat would be given... Not sure of lifting with an air suspension...

A BAKflip bed cover. I just had one added to my new 3500 Long Bed. $1,200.00 shop installed. Very pleased.

These trucks are pretty good out of the box, but I agree completely with a clear bra, especially on the night trucks.

I’d go Ram floor mats over weathertech, but that’s just me.

OEM tires do suck, but they work fine for a while and are cheap to burn off for summer towing.

Husky X-act contour mats for the win. Check them out before you decide. I haven’t seen or felt the Ram mats but Weathertechs aren’t on par with the Husky’s IMO.

Good luck with the new rig. It will be amazing. Plans for it like hauling/towing?

I had the huskys in my 2014 1500. They were great but the ram mats in my 22 are as good and maybe slightly better.

Not sure about the floor mats but definitely go with Husky mud flaps.
Also you likely won't need a lift for 35s, I don't and I run 35x12.5r20 Nittos

If you plan to have the truck for a long time, and live anywhere that sees winter road conditions, plan on a good oil undercoating. I prefer woolwax, but there are several other options.

All those ideas are great. I will get the PPF, Ram's floor mats, and mud flaps. The truck is coming with a tonneau cover. What I never though of was the under coating; great idea...

A little history, I have a 2018 Nissan HD 5.0L Cummins now; less than 50K on it. Love the truck! My son wants it., so he is going to buy it from me; we all know how that goes... 1/2 of what it is worth. Not that he's screwing me, I just don't want him to have to pay full price... Though Nissan is a Japan company, the truck was build in USA. Rams 2500 and 3500 are built in Mexico. That was a big dilemma for me!

As for towing, I have a 18' car hauler and a 18' box trailer. Crap, forgot about my 20' fishing pontoon; just bought it this year; 2022 Tracker... Will likely be buying one of those dump trailers for my son's shop scrap. But I do not do a lot of hauling per say.

That's a good dad right there. Those diesel titans are pretty damn good trucks, at least from the couple of guys I know that have them. Seems like it would be the perfect rig for what you were doing. Side note: I am available for adoption.

On a contrary the diesel titans are horrible trucks. Of course not everyone would have issues but there are plenty, very poor online reviews for diesel titan. I wouldn't wish for my fam to own one.

Interesting. I never liked the concept but those that I know that have them, love them. They seem to command a pretty good resale when I looked. Maybe since I don't really follow any titan groups, I don't see the negative stuff.

Yeah, good and bad for all... Mine is pretty damn good; knock on wood...

Yeah I looked into getting one for my previous truck but what I saw turned me away from them, the 5L Cummins didn't live up to Cummins reputation either. Ended up driving a Tundra with 5.7L gasser, until my needs changed and I upgraded to a one ton with a real Cummins in it

You pick out some running boards/steps yet? Bed step? I love my Havoc boards, bed step will be my next addition. Also, check out Geno's locking fuel cap..
