Oil leak

I have a 2024 Ram 2500 HD With 6.7L disel engine. Bought it 3 weeks ago with 13 mile on it. I put about 800 miles and today I took it to the dealership because is leaking transmission oil from the out put of the transmission and is leaking eng oil from the front of the transmission. Anyone know if this has happened before

Common issue with new trucks.. seems there was a run of bad Trans or TCase output seals.

Same with my 2024.. Found it after AEV did the mods and I drove it home.. Not a lot, but its always got a drop on the rubber boot. I doubt the dealership will fix it as its now lifted and an easy blame on driveshaft angles, so I'll replace it myself, but I did find that disappointing with a truck that literally had 30 miles on it.

If the engine oil leak is a small amount collecting at the bottom of the transmission adapter plate and bell housing, it might not be engine oil (even though it looks like engine oil). Since your truck is new, it might be the CATS rust prevention coating they put on the engine block to prevent corrosion during shipment. It can liquify and run down, ultimately collecting in that area. If you can find a black light, shine it on what you believe to be oil. If it illuminates under the black light, it’s the rust prevention coating running down.
