Thos are very good questions. This truck was driven as a real workhorse. It's believed to have been a hotshot truck in the first 50K and turned over to a landscape company for the rest of the 115K after we purchased it. Now many people might tell me I was crazy to buy it but, I did get a good deal on it. I was able to get a decent aftermarket warranty to cover it. In the first 100K I'd say they did little Maintenace on the truck. I've cleaned it inside and out. I've changed every fluid in the truck in some cases more than once in my 20K of ownership, or I should say the dealer did it. As to answer the real question, the crank case filter may have never been changed in 115K. The oil was only changed a few times on the Carfax records that I could find. They might have done it themselves, but who knows. I did pull off the CCV line into the turbo and I did find oil residue. I've recently changed the CCV filter, fuel filter, oil, belt pully. It has the CP3 recall done and emission recall, because of that recall they covered the DPF filter.Looks excessive at first glance but hard to tell just seeing the bottom. If you’re at 130k and it clogged the DPF, excessive oil in the charge air circuit could be to blame for DPF filling prematurely. It can also force the truck to regenerate far more frequently than it should. How many times has the CCV filter been changed in that 130k miles? If it’s never been changed or not changed enough it may be partly to blame. Typically excessive oil in the charge are circuit is caused by either a saturated CCV or an oil level in the crankcase that is higher than the “full” amount.
