anyone use the PACBRAKE oil filter relocation kit? i am thinking about getting one, the oil filter is in a terrible location currently.
it is not in the best spot and it makes a huge mess when changing...luckily i did it in the yard and not in the driveway...The oil filter is not bad at all compared to some…
near the sway bar on the framewhere does the kit relocate the filter to?
I find its not bad at all myself and i hardly spill a drop ever. But they should work wellit is not in the best spot and it makes a huge mess when changing...luckily i did it in the yard and not in the driveway...
Get this and you'll no longer have an issue, plus you can properly pre-fill the new filter w/o spillage issues.it is not in the best spot and it makes a huge mess when changing...luckily i did it in the yard and not in the driveway...
Pre filling is not proper as you are putting unfiltered oil in the part of the filter that holds filtered oil… if prefilling you would have to fill through the small holes in the filter not the large one…. Plus prefilling is a waste of time and effortGet this and you'll no longer have an issue, plus you can properly pre-fill the new filter w/o spillage issues.
