I have a question for the group. I have a 2022 3500 limited with all the camera options. I have the Trailer Surround Cameras and the Rearview Digital Camera on my car hauling trailer. I am looking at buying an Entegra Accolade Super C motorhome for traveling to distant car shows. What I'm wondering is if there is any way I can rig up a system to use the Mopar cameras that are currently on my trailer and see them in the cab of the motorhome?

Thanks in advance

Not with that Super C, but if you bought one of the Ram-based Super Cs you could.

What I'm wondering is if there is any way...
There's almost always a way. All it takes is time and money...

The digital rearview camera system uses what is thought to be a proprietary protocol for video that isn't compatible with any other system. However, it is possible to use the mirror without the truck. Unfortunately it's not as simple as installing the Ram mirror in the motorhome and providing power. The video functionality of the mirror isn't enabled until after it receives a message to enable it. The good news is, it's a really simple protocol. Easy to recreate using an Arduino and a few dollars worth of parts. I know there's at least one person on this forum who has gone this route to get a 2022 digital rear view mirror to work with his older Ram truck.

Now for the trailer surround cameras... That system starts to output the overhead video signal as soon as it powers up. I'm not as familiar with what protocol it uses for video, but I get the impression it's a standard video signal and shouldn't be hard to get a monitor to work with it. If that's all the functionality you want, it should be pretty easy. Where this system gets complicated, is if you want to do any configuration or switch camera views. For that you'll need to send messages to it over the CANbus. I don't know of anyone who has done this yet. Should be possible. But, would require more work to figure out what messages you'd need to send when.
