I carry a truck camper and have toyed with using the Off Road Info screen on the dash to figure out if we're level or not, since it shows the pitch/roll level by degrees. Of course the camper isn't quite level to the truck so I have to do some mental math to compensate, but even then it doesn't seem to be off consistently one way or the other. Anybody have more info on this feature? Are the sensors mounted on the axles themselves or the body of the truck or what?

Great idea!
I believe the sensors are on the body otherwise RAM had to pick either the front or the rear axle for the sensors since they can articulate independently and it won't give you any useful info if the sensors were on the axles.

Probably on the chassis somewhere and are used primarily for the stability control system.

Pitch and yaw sensors are probably in a central location. In a Toyota truck they’re under the center console.

Makes sense. Thanks everyone. I'm thinking with the slight give of the suspension, we're probably never gonna have it offset the same way twice, anyhow. Appreciate the insight.

I like this one for a towable. Not only is it visible from the driver seat, it tells you how many blocks you need for left to right.
