Off Road decal…..

I wonder if hill decent control could be add and use an auxiliary switch to control it?

Why you would want to go through the aux switches?
Well if he does not have the switch panel with the button for hill decent and has the aux switches that would be cheaper instead of buying the 4WD switch that has hill decent

I see. I don't know much about the systems in these trucks I have made quite a few changes to my '19 by following instructions primarily from @Jimmy07 with Hill decent being one of them. For me it was a lot easier just to buy the switch. Wouldn't it be more complicated to go thru aux switches and AlfaOBD would still be needed?

Yea its always easier of doing it the proper way just not usually the cheaper way lol

Not possible at all.
But can be added with the factory switch that’s integrated into the truck?

Is the factory switch part of the switches above the auxiliary switches or part of the rotary transmission shifter?

Its on my 4wd switch should be the same for you im pretty sure unless the gassers are different

Used hill descent to come down an old washed out and loose mountain logging trail in BC. Had to traverse it several times. Tried it with and without hill desecent. It required way less conentration when using it. The feature was on Wrangler rental. If I lived and worked in a area like that It would be a usefull feature to have. The conditions need to be somwhat extream to really appreciate the feature.
Agree, couldn't get it on my 23 because it forced other packages I didn't want but have had it on other vehicles in the past. If your normal driving conditions include going down steep hills, especially poor quality roads, you can benefit from this feature. I'd compare it to the usefulness of an exhaust brake or a trailer brake controller, when either are needed for their intended purposes, they make a big difference.
