<div class="bbWrapper">Hi Chaps, after far too long making a decision on my wheels & tires, I finally bought a set of XD Hoss II wheels and new tires for my 2500 Big Horn. I got 18x9 " wheels with +18 offset and the stance is exactly what I wanted, a wee bit more aggressive than stock, but that looks great. I was gonna buy BFGoodrich T/A KO2's again. (loved them), but got these tires form Canadain Tire for half the $ and the reviews are as good or better than the BFG's so I took a chance on them. (fella down the road has them and loves them).<br />

My issue now is, while I have OEM mud flaps to cover the new wheels/tires at the back, I could really use some fender flares.<br />

OEM flares are $925 CAD + tax and Im guessing they don't come painted (I can paint them thats no big deal, I do my own paint work). Ive read online that folks have mixed views on aftermarket flares like bushwhacker, I want them small & discreet OEM style and no drilling required. Id also like to put the OEM mud flaps back on once the flares are on. What I really want is the plain/simple Laramy style flares with none of the faux bolts on the side.<br />

What are your opinions on Flares, go OEM or other ? <br />

The other reason I want a very subtle Flare is that I may use the OEM wheels in the summer months and I think the big flares will look awful with OEM wheel fitment<br />
