OEM Aux switches

So I finally found a truck with the exact options I have but non power wagon with the aux switches. Tried to order the harness and they don't make it anymore for the 2019.

My guess is you just can't order the main wiring harnesses out of the model year because I looked for a 2020 and they are also discontinued.

You need to have the parts guy find out from mopar what part number supersedes the discontinued part. Part numbers get discontinued all the time, but they don’t just stop making it, they just get superseded.

Went through that process and the guy said there are just none available and no way for them to even order them.

Ok...what’s the part number you’re trying to get, I’ll see what I can come up with.

68410897AD is the part number that is not available. Dash Wiring Left

Alter, as far as cut, tap, or splice into factory wiring- no. But, you do have to add the 6 missing aux switch wires to the connector that they stop being populated at. Most of this info is in the aux switches thread.
I have read every page of the DIY thread, the AUX pass-thru wiring thread, and the FAQ thread and I cannot figure out where these wires terminate.

As far as I can understand for my truck all the switch wires are already in the harness but the X/Y connector (see attachment) is not included since my truck did not come from the factory w/ the AUX switches (sales code: LHL). I know I could build a jumper harness but if the wires are somewhere already I would prefer that running a jumper. Is it possible to just connect the X/Y 125A connector to the existing switch wires and go from there?

The XY125 connector is on every truck. It has half of your wiring harness running through it. It’s under the dash on the left side. It has yellow tape wrapped around the wiring bundle.

You can get the factory PDC and it's got leads that run through the firewall and pin into the connector that will plug into the aux switch panel. I had trouble finding the right set of aux switches. Once that's done you need the sales code programmed into the ECU. The last thing I've had issues with is finding the right terminals to populate the PDC with more circuits as when you get the PCs kit it will only have in it what the 6 aux switches will need to operate.

@jsalbre Thanks for the hint. I was able to find it. I confirmed that the wires are in the dash harness and terminate in the female side of the connector which has no wires in the same spots there are wires in the male connector. I used a continuity tester to confirm each of the six wires. I will take some pictures and post them here when I am done. My experience has been thus far is that the wiring between the 19s and every other year (even the 20s) is different.

Off topic a bit but does anyone know if the parts of the harnesses on these trucks use the colored tape to signify that there are blunt cut wires, or add on options the respective truck doesn't have? I have seen yellow, blue, and green tape.

Yellow usually means something airbag related runs through it.

Not sure about the other colors.
