I am looking for a cheaper OBDlink MX+ alternative, I don't want to spend the $140 on the MX+. I will only use it on my ram and don't see the need to spend the extra money for the Ford/GM capability.
I have a BAFX and it has been wonky using it for some AlfaOBD functions so I got the MX+. If I was writing codes to my truck, I'd not take a chance on a $20 reader.

What kind of issues did you run into? Ive used mine to change the tpms and fog lights on with high beams. I need to do the cargo cam and eventually tire size but after that, I'll likely not make any changes. I ask because I'd like to know what to look out for. I did the ANC off but I can't tell any difference and I'm not sure that it worked or not.
