I’m back! First I need a little redemption. Things got off topic with the GPS tracker. No low credit score. My dealership installed Apex, it’s like LoJack except I can track the location of my truck or the police can if I call it in stolen. I just never knew where they placed it.
Now, mystery solved for the OP, myself, and whoever else needs this one day. Either the Amp Research steps or the GPS deal plugged into the factory OBD port that was moved from the factory location and replaced with another one that is in the factory location. It looked exactly the same but it was not numbered and had no open ports. Once I realized this I was able to backtrack up the line of cables to the original OBD and perform all of the steps. The Procal Snap was not working so easily until I turned the radio off and on, then I could get the honks. Before that there were some oh crap moments because it said everything was malfunctioning. But the radio fixed it. Now I have my speedometer corrected for 35’s and TPMS won’t trigger until below 30 psi. Hope this helps somebody!
