My 2020 with 4k miles is really noisy, especially when under any kind of load. Kind of sounds like a sewing machine and changes with rpm's. Doesn't do it when just revving the engine, has to be in gear. Dealership says it's normal blah blah blah. I've tried to listen to other 6.4L when I see them on the road and haven't heard one like mine yet.

I get the 6.4 is a noisy sob, but this one just doesn't sound right. Any body else experience this?

Does it sound like a top end tick, or something deeper?

Fuel injectors in modern vehicles can be a bit noisy.

I experienced a hell of a loud noise when climbing from 2K up to more than 4K elevation change while towing our 7.2K lb TT on a 100+ degree day. Most likely cause was the cooling fan clutch engagement. Only had it happen that one day, but it did it five times on the steepest inclines. Best advice I received was to use a lower gear and higher rpms. Seems to have worked as I didn't experience it on the return trip or since that day.

Deeper, it comes from under the truck. It's loudest when next to other cars or something the sound can bounce off of.
