<div class="bbWrapper">Hi to all I’m new to the site. When I engage the exhaust brake it has started to sound different. To me it sounds like the turbo has opened a bit. All is working as it should. Any ideas?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">It sounds like the exhaust brake is kicking in but I hear this when at idle.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">Have you checked for exhaust leaks around the exhaust manifold, turbo and downpipe?</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">just to confirm this is when you are driving/hauling and the brake comes on as you go to slow down?</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">In park not towing. At idle after pushing the exhaust brake button once. It sounds normal for the Cummins before the button is pushed.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">The actuator will usually set a code if it’s malfunctioning. Is this the first start of the day or anytime you push the button?</div>
