Noise, mega cab body looks shifted, and tsbs??

My 2020 3500 limited CC SB doesn't have a rattle but the cab/box is out of alignment like others.
It's at the dealer right now. I just found this thread tonight, so will be interesting when I talk to them tomorrow.

I picked up from the dealer today and they said they loosened both box and cab. They were able to move it a bit, I'd guess now within 3/8" or so. They also said they realize it is still not 100% so I have an appointment next Monday to take it to a body shop. They will pay for whatever needs to be done to make it perfect.
I've bought several trucks from this local dealer and they have gone to bat for things for me in the past. At times like this, I'm glad to be dealing with a helpful dealer, because it seems others have had much worse experiences at dealer service departments.

Here are a couple of "after" photos - I took them looking down from the top of the box as the side view was full of reflections. Hope this shows well in the pics...

Thanks!
I may end up doing that, but they indicated that if the body shop needs to go further (such as to square up the box or whatever they find), they would put that through on warranty also. So, giving them a shot to get this right; for now.

Hello,
Just wanted to advise you guys that this is a big issue with early 2019 Ram HD 2500 and 3500 crew and mega cabs. I am in the process of getting mine addressed and parts are on order. RAM has issued a TSB bulletin to rectify this problem. The issue is the cab mounts. They are actually loose and appear on camera to move, SEE You Tube videos. When going over bumps and transitioning from parking lots, curbs that cause the suspension / frame to flex, this causes the mounts to shift and or lift and cause the banging noise. Worse cases the actual cab shifts in the rear by the bed. Contact your dealership and have them review the TSB dated NOV 2020 for repair solution and new parts that have to be ordered. RAM has redesigned the main cab mounts and hardware to correct the problem.
Pictured below is my truck with a shifted cab.

I had same issue the new cab mounts the put on lessened the noise but it's still there let us know how u make out

We should just catalog the parts needed, cause I’ll purchase them and do it myself, the dealers round these parts are not touching my truck.

Is it 23-013-19? How does one figure out build date on their truck to know if this applies?

One difference between those two tsbs is the first one applies to the a-pillar mount, second one that you guys referenced is the c-pillar mount. Makes you wonder if you should just do both.

Who would have thought that a team of engineers could take what is essentially a bushing between the cab and the frame with a bolt in it, complicate the living hell out of it to the point that a multi billion dollar corporation can’t figure out how to bolt a cab to the frame securely. This is sounding like government work to me. I’m about to cut out my own solid rubber bushing, cut the bolt to the correct length and be done with it. Solid rubber mount. Get it done dudes.

When you guys find TSB, particularly those that are otherwise difficult to find, please also make a brief post in the Problems/TSB forum. There is a sticky thread there to post JUST the TSB info. Several members requested this section so it would be nice to see it utilized more. TIA.

This may be kind of barbaric, but any thoughts on just eating up the space left by the bushings with some big old washers to stop the play? FEBF08D7-361B-4A3C-89D0-36548D20B1C6.jpeg

They have a fix, it’s under warranty and it seems that the 2019 models are the ones with the most problems. I will advise when mine is complete.

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response. After several weeks of driving after they placed 2 new front body mounts I can say that the situation has improved however on rough terrain and poor roadways their is still a known on the floor board from time to time. I will eventually take it back if the matter proceeds to get worse. It’s hard to understand why this issue can not be corrected completely. Stay safe and enjoy the summer.
