I don't think emissions law should be left up to the states. I am a Federalist to a point, but as we're all Americans, fundamental Constitutional liberties and freedoms should not be denied anyone based simply on geographical state lines. Its bad enough that this emissions garbage is forced on us at all, at ANY government level, that we have no choice but to purchase a bunch of troublesome crap we don't want on these trucks in the first place and THEN have to suffer the expensive consequences when (not if) they fail. But if the good folks of Arkansas are free, at least, to purchase an $80,000 truck and then remove the offending trash they don't want on it, then we here behind the CARB Curtain should be free to as well.
Besides, as we all know, diesel emissions freedoms were clearly enumerated in our Nation's founding documents, soooo....
