I'm sure this has been talked about a lot and if you want to just send me links to threads, that's ok, but for now......I have had several people ask me why I haven't done the "anti" def conversion......so, will ask a couple of questions if you will bear with me please.

I've heard people say that DEF actually hurts the cummins more than helps it after awhile! Can't actually see that happening, but again, I don't know.

-Is the removal of DEF worth the cost?
-Does it improve mileage?
-Does it help engine life?
-Is hp or torque affected?

I'm satisfied with adding DEF, but I am also always looking for ways to improve my awesome Ram 2500.

Please add your 2 cents.....I learn so much from you all.

Merry Christmas to you all.

DEF is injected in to the exhaust only…. If your DEF system and emissions are working i would not bother deleting it, if you want more power/ fuel milage you can get intact tuning that will work well

Doesn't that also make it smoke more?
I DO NOT WANT THAT.
Intact tuning?

Does what make it smoke more?

I like DEF, it reduces the need for EGR use and allowing for better injection timing which is good for power/mileage.
