I have a 2021 Ram 2500 Laramie with 12” Uconnect. I have never been able to get the CarPlay to work after the first couple months. I have replaced the media center and still nothing. My iPhone does connect by Bluetooth and the media center does have power and charges the phone but no CarPlay.
I tow an 5th wheel and use a truck app to miss low bridges and overpasses. Hate using my phone when I have this huge screen in front of me. Any help would be amazing.

Is Carplay enabled on the radio?
Of course. I have done all resets, made sure all wires are plugged in and tight, phone is set properly.
I believe it is the data cable from the media hub to the radio but cannot get anyone to tell me which cable/wire/harness it is. Really don’t won’t to have to pay $200+ dollars for the entire set if I don’t have to.

Ok I guess I am in the wrong place. Thought I could get some actual answers.
Of course I plugged it in, I also tried multiple cords from Apple to lightning cables. I have done EVERYTHING except change out all the wiring harnesses.
I was hoping for someone that actually worked on Uconnect that might have some actual educated responses.
WELL with that attitude you should get exactly the answers your looking for.

Try a fresh Apple-certified cable (some stop working with CarPlay even if they still charge). Also go into your iPhone settings - General - CarPlay, and see if your truck shows up there - sometimes you need to “forget” and re-add it. A quick reset of the Uconnect system can also help.

As I stated in my original post, that along with EVERYTHING else other than replacing all the wire harnesses have been done.
