New toys!

We found the trailer we wanted (43' 5W toy hauler), and then had the truck built to requirements, and then overbuilt, lol. Looked at the load charts and realized I HAD to have the diesel. Picked the long bed by chance since it was required for the 50gallon gas tank I wanted.

Camper I may be getting is 12k and 1850 hitch dry and I'm going for a 3500. The payload is what I worry about. I say holy cow to this one. 2500 is only good for ~3000 payload for Hemi and ~2400 for Cummins. From what I researched.

I have a 35 ft 5 th wheel with the water in the very rear loaded I am at 15 k with about 3000k on the pic and about 200 over on the rear axle . Those pin weights from the factory are no waterer propane . I would go on the Solitude forum and ask owners of like trailers what their pin weight is . Not that that changes anything you already have the truck . nice looking set up enjoy your travels and life on the road .

The payload is the main and final reason I decided to go with 3500, my current 1500 limited has a very low payload and towing capacity which limits the options of TT or 5r selection, so upgrading to either 2500 with HEMI or 3500 with Cummins. Never owned diesel and want to have the potential room for the bigger boy, so 3500+Cummins won.
