In the process of purchasing my third Ram, 2022 3500 crew HO single rear wheels. Looking forward to getting to know my way around, meeting other members and soaking up some of the knowledge on here.

Thanks to all. I do have a question. Can anyone confirm whether or not a B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch will work with the factory 5th wheel/goose neck bed setup?

I believe so. I just purchased a 5th wheel. They offered a B&W Companion as a perk in the deal. I own a 2022 Ram 3500 LB SRW with pucks in the bed. Install is next week.

Anxious to hear how it goes. I'm picking up that exact same truck tomorrow. Very excited.

If you have the tow prep then the companion mounts in the 4 puck holes with quarter turn levers. If you are referring to the companion hitch BW makes for their turnover ball then no, the turnover ball fifth wheel hitch will not fit the factory ram gooseneck ball socket.

It is a little confusing, BW makes a few different bases for their hitches to fit various hitch systems, they are all called companion hitches. You will need a ram puck system companion hitch.

I was afraid that might be the case. I will have the factory tow prep and also have the B&W for the turnover ball setup. Looks like there's a new hitch in my future. Thank you.

B&W hitch install went well. RV dealer used the Ram factory "in bed" pucks. B&W hitch is std puck to 5th wheel. Pick up 5th wheel April 07. Ready for summer.

Nice. I'm gonna look into locating the puck mounts for my B&W Companion hitch. Congratulations and happy camping.
