<div class="bbWrapper">I finally had time to get my truck in the body shop for the hail damage from this summer. It&#039;s a 2022 crew cab with clearance lights. The roof has square holes for them. The body guy ordered the roof with what we both thought was the correct number. When it was delivered, it didn&#039;t have holes and it was bent anyway, but could have been easily fixed. They ordered a new roof, different part number, and it came in with round holes for the lights. It was also damaged bad enough that it wasn&#039;t easily fixable. Does anyone know if they make a replacement roof with square holes and a part number for that? I&#039;ve tried researching but can&#039;t find anything definite. Thanks for the help</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">No, there&#039;s a seam that I think lines up with the edge of the windshield and the edge of the back glass that&#039;s got a rubber moulding in it.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">Yup they just pry them off and glue another on . If you have a sun roof make sure it operates properly.</div>

Seems it would be really hard to access the backside of the spot welds to seal them to prevent future corrosion.</div>

I guess I&#039;m not going find out because they don&#039;t make a replacement roof with the square holes for clearance lights so the PDR guy is just gonna do what he can. I can only see from the windshield to just behind the lights and those dents aren&#039;t too bad. There&#039;s only a couple small ones in the back where I can see it too. I&#039;ll just have to close my eyes when I stop on the boards to dry the roof off cause that still ain&#039;t gonna be pretty.<br /> I was a little apprehensive about replacing the roof to begin with, and he&#039;s worried about trying to put square holes in the roof too.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Is the PDR guy sure he can get to all of the dents? I had some big hail dents in a GM truck roof a few years ago and the only place it really took any major dents was where the support channels underneath the skin provided enough support to allow a dent. And they couldn&#039;t roll the dents back out where there was a support channel directly under the dent. <br /> <br /> Evidently all the big hailstones that hit between supports didn&#039;t cause a dent because the skin could flex. I just left them, nobody crawls up on my trucks to look at the roof anyway. 2 of the last 3 trucks I&#039;ve traded off had big dents in the roof and the dealer didn&#039;t even mention them. I know the first one was never even inspected because I watched him.</div>
