Just ordered a new ram 2500 big horn crew cab

-snow chief
-upfitters kit

Really anxious to see how this 8 speed drives with the 6.4!

Cant wait to see what kind of mods guys do to their new rigs! Not much out as far as accessories yet

Congrats and welcome! I now have 7000 miles on my 392 and I really like it! Seems to be a good combo with the 8 speed and 3.73 gears.

Did you already have one with the 6speed?

What rear gear did you go with?

the standard 3.73 rear end, I have 6.0 chevy currently, however our fire department houses 3 dodges with the 6.4 so i have drove them with the transmission prior to the 8 speed. Do you have the new 8 speed?

Welcome and congrats on ordering the new truck. I have the 6.4 Hemi with 3.73. I think you’ll like It a lot. There’s a lot fo good info on here and real experiences that will help answer questions. You bought a solid truck that has a lot of capability on top of just plain being cool.
