[HAVASU RAM]

Hello, I have a 2022 3500 big horn long bed that I ordered. I live in Lake Havasu LOVE the truck HATE the Navigation system

I use my phone because my truck does not have nav. I don’t hear many other complaints about it, what’s the beef?

It took me to a dirt road, with a 33' trailer.. HOWEVER I've selected HIGHWAYS only in the sub menu. The other issue is it will take me off the highway and thru downtown in any major city instead of keeping me on the highway bypass. Also when going to twin falls Id on 93 at wells Nv it tries to send me 5 miles east on I80 then 5 miles west on I80 to continue on 93 this happens EVERYTIME I'm in Wells NV. I'm pretty tech savvy and I drive ALOT, (51k in 9 months on my truck) so I get a some serious seat time and notice these errors. I've owned several dodge hd rams and have enjoyed every single one of them but when you haul a trailer and the nav tries to send you down a road that can damage your trailer, you lose confidence in the system. I've since learning of the design flaw purchased an expensive app that works great! But on a lighter note the factory ALPINE stereo ROCKS!

Check your setting and make sure it does not say shortest route.
Had that issue in another car. If I selected shortest route, it would take me on the exit ramp and back on the highway because it was shorter than making the big sweeping curve of the highway.
Dumb I know. But it's only as smart as the programmer.
