I'm currently driving a 2022 1500 Limited (and a member of the 5thGen forum) but am seriously thinking at trading up to a 2500. I joined so I could do some research and determine what I want in the next build.

That wouldn't be a bad decision...... I did the same thing back in December. Traded a '22 Big Horn 1500 on a '24 Big Horn 2500 diesel. It was probably one of my best truck purchases. You will definitely notice a bit harsher ride, but well worth the additional capability. Good luck!

Thanks. My decision is largely based on towing needs. My wife and I are talking about getting a 25’ Bigfoot and the payload on my 1500 is only 1270. Interestingly enough, the feature I’ll miss the most on my 1500 is the MFT. I find that I open the tailgate like a barn door about 85-90% of the time. As a consolation, I’m thinking about getting Ramboxes on this one.
