New Member - 2026 Tradesman Power Wagon

Hello,

Just purchased a 2026 Power Wagon (tradesman trim level) to tow behind the Class A DP. Last Power Wagon I owned was a 2009 model with 37s. I'll probably go to 35s this time. Ordered Blue Ox BX2424 base plate to install. Love the truck. Inside has the bench seat I wanted and still has the large 12 inch screen. Big upgrade from the 09 which had 5.7 and 5 speed with 4.56 gears. Only dislike is the MDS system.

Good looking truck! Its night and day from the last gen. I love the 6.4 and 8spd. The MDS stinks, but you can turn it off with manual gear selection or tow/haul mode . However, I've heard you want to let the MDS kick on so the gallies in the collapsable lifters get oil through them.

I special ordered mine to get the bench seat and the manual floor shifter for 4x4. I love the bench seat. I just wish they kept the column shifter over the dial for the trans. There are been multiple times I've almost grabbed the trans dial instead of the volume knob while driving. Haha.

I wish i knew about the floor shifter....I prefer that over the automated system. I traded in a 2019 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk because the electric actuator for the transfer case failed (covered by recall) and the replacement is on back order indefinitely. My PW has the column shifter though.
