If you do a lightbar it might not block much flow. I saw this on another site (note he has a front cam and it sits right below and you cant tell at all that its there)
I’m personally shy of blocking airflow to the grille for cooling reasons, though I’m sure it’s fine because a) naturally aspirated engine b) I’m sure the radiator is overbuilt for users that are towing/loaded heavy up steep mountains
Air goes around things. Air would go right around the lights and into the radiator. They would have to be very large lights to push air around the radiator
Yeah I wouldn’t worry about airflow. These trucks have active grille shutters for goodness sake! Half the time I get out of my truck and look and they’re closed… Clearly the cooling system is more than up to snuff if the engineers felt the need to literally shut things down once in a while
So did some homework, this is from a 1500 with a randy ellis bar provided from their nice lady on the phone. The other is from their website on a 2500. Doesn't look like it'll be too bad
