Hello all,
I go by Ronstar and I’m from north central Idaho. Not new to Dodge Ram but soon a 2023 2500 Ram Cummins will be delivered! I’ve had a 1975 PowerWagon, currently with a 2001 Dodge 2500 with a Cummins (138,000 and getting to transferred to my youngest boy who is a diesel mechanic in CO drooling to get it).
I’ve been Google searching a lot about these new beasts and this forum seems to be the best of them all!!!
Ordered Dec 10th a ‘23 Bighorn 4x4 with crewcab and 6.7 Cummins. It will have SnowChief, OffRoad, BedUtility, ColdWeather, and Level2 interior packages. This is my first build from scratch endeavor. Estimated delivery is March 24 so pins and needles until I sit in it, lol.
Im retired law enforcement, married with four adult kids and five granddaughters. Current hobby making me rich (?) is metal detecting. I spend time in back country camping with the wife and new dog, riding the ATV and utilizing my knowledge of my area with the local Search and Rescue group (Vehicle Posse).
And thats all I will admit too,

Welcome to the forum. Did you retire recently? Post some pics of your new Ram when it comes.

Retired 2016 after 35 yrs total service including being an SP in the USAF ‘75-‘81!

Below pic is from the build site minus the RamBar and LED lights across the top….
Will take pic of the ‘01 next to the ‘23 when she get here.

Thanks for your service, both for our country, community as well as your continued support for your community with search and rescue.

Welcome Brother and congrats on the new ride. I know the feeling of waiting. had to wait several months to get my PW.
Retired Navy here, did a little security stuff while in the Navy. So thanks for both of your services.

Welcome. I run an AT Pro in my retirement BTW.

Welcome from south Georgia and congrats on your new Ram order. I spent sixteen years in the Boise area when I was stationed and retired from Mt Home AFB. Loved Idaho! As stated, post pics of your new Ram when you get it and thanks for your service.
