Not necessarily. It is normal to receive your VIN within one week of placing the order. Moving to the next phase (D1, I believe) would be more significant. And I was just given a VIN... is that a plus? Someting moving along?
It’s been a while since I was part of a forum… used to post everything from my PC!
Anyway, just placed an order for a 2022 Power Wagon in Olive green. Truck is going to be sweat, didn’t ordered anything special.
The waiting game starts!
I’m on my 3rd Ram right now and this one will be my 4th. Cummins 5.9 owner right here, yup going back to gas.
I wanted to ask and see if anybody could show a picture of the “stock” seats. Everything that I’ve seen shows leather which as stated before, I didn’t add any packages.
Thanks in advance!

Just what I was looking for, thanks bud
Just ordered mine today they said 2 to 3 monthsJust ordered mine as well in the olive green too! I hope the wait isn't 4 -5 months.
Standard seat are a grey cloth with the tire tread pattern. LVL2 option gets you the leather/vinyl bench seats, LVL3 gets you the premium leather buckets with center console.
Hope you paid less than MSRP!
I ordered mine on 12-11-21. Est. qoute for build time was 20-25 weeks from Mark Dodge. I have seen some go very quick within the 2 month range but I'm still in D status. I have seen some take 6 months also. I think it is the luck of the draw.Just ordered mine today they said 2 to 3 months
How did you obtain the estimated delivery date? Which dealer did you order from? I placed my order on 1/22/22, at Mark Dodge. I've received my VIN but nothing else.Where is it you go to get this status? I’ve got my vin number. Order placed Jan 15, got my vin email Feb18. Scheduled del of April 17-30.
Yeah, I've seen quite a few in my area (So Cal), but they are selling for $5K-$10K over sticker. I ordered my Level 3 (MSRP $74K) for $65.5K. Similar trucks in this area are selling for $80K+. Worth the wait, to me. I also never found a truck, on a lot, that was exactly what I wanted either, so win-win.Crazy how long it takes to get an order. I picked mine up from the lot exactly how I wanted it (minus bedliner) back in Oct 2021.
Luckily I didn't have any mark ups. It depends on the dealer you go to. I purchased mine at Glenn E. Thomas Dodge in Long Beach. I used the builder on the RamTrucks.com when it became available and it showed the vehicle was on lot and not in transit. Went to get it the next day.Yeah, I've seen quite a few in my area (So Cal), but they are selling for $5K-$10K over sticker. I ordered my Level 3 (MSRP $74K) for $65.5K.
