New CP3.3 Slight Whine??

Has anyone who's had the recall done noticed a slight whining noise after the replacement?
I'm not sure if this is a new noise or if it was pre-existing and I just didn't notice it. I'm leaving on a 1500 mile trip on Saturday so paranoia is setting in....

Mine rattles a bit, I'd say less "whiney" than the CP4 was though.

I think I'll check the pump with my stethoscope to see if the noise is coming from it.

Thanks. That seems to be exactly what I'm hearing, a slight gear whine. I guess it makes sense, the gear inside the timing case was mated to the CP4 gear and "worn" in over time.

my cp3 is whisper quiet. especially compared to the cp4.
