Well I've got another clunk happening now. It's not the front or rear cab mounts. I KNOW what that sounds like. Been dealing with that since July of 19. This new one started yesterday out of the blue. I thought something might be banging around in the bed but I took everything out and it's still doing it. Sounds like track bar bushings when I'm driving but standing outside the truck when my wife moves it, sounds like it's coming from the rear. Anybody have something like this happen? 2019 2500 C/C 4x4 short bed Cummins.

Could it be a bad or missing shock bushing?

It could be. Kinda sounds like that but doesn't do it if I jump up and down on the bumpers or on the running boards. I will check the steering linkages tomorrow to see if anything is moving around. I just saw a thread on here that the 2020 3500's had a TSB about drag links loosening up or something. Thanks for responding. I'll update if I find something.

I have a “clunk” noise from the front end on my 3500 for about 6 months. Mine is mostly when turning the wheels. I have had it to the dealer twice and they could not duplicate the problem. They didn’t really try to find the problem since it happens probably 90% of the time. I plan on getting back in when I have more time, and using a different service writer. I also want to drive it with them in the truck so I can get it to make the noise, instead of them driving it 100 feet in the parking lot..

I think mine is the Drag Link. I had my wife turn the wheels back and forth while I was under listening and feeling around. I could feel a pop on the Drag Link that matches the noise...

Someone on here posted that the rear sway bar end links were loose on his truck.

I checked those but it's coming from the front end on the driver's side. It's been at the dealership for a week now and they haven't touched it. They said "Monday" when I dropped it off on Saturday but never said which "Monday". While I was there, I ordered a 2021 3500 but if this is the way they do business I'm going to cancel it when I pick the '19 up.

Okay so after about a month at the dealer, they finally found the new clunk. Turns out it was the rear sway bar links. I did check them before but didn't put a torque wrench on 'em. (Didn't really feel like laying in the Ga. Mud anymore). Cab mounts still banging around. This dealer I won't to apparently won't do TSB's after 36k miles even though it has a star case for over a year. I don't know. Back to the dealer I bought it at I guess.
