New, 3500 traveling the country

Sold the house and two cars. Bought a 3500 HD and a 42 ft. 5th wheel. Been traveling the country since June 2021. What fun! We've crossed the Rockies four time hauling our 8 ton home with no issues or concerns.

Awesome, congrats! We are starting the same process. Toy hauler should be ready this week ;-). Very excited!

Do tell, what truck do you have - including engine and gear? Same with RV?

Considering how many problems new RVs have right out of the box I would strongly suggest that you spend a week camping close to the dealership to see what doesn't work before heading out long distances . Go over it with a fine tooth comb before signing and don't take their word for anything . They LIE ! Make sure they fix it before you buy it or they will screw you around for weeks waiting for the repair . Good luck and happy trails . You can download a check list off of IRV2 web site it is free
