New 2500 ‘floaty’. What to do.

It drives awesome without trailer. ‘Floaty’ never crossed my mind on first 500 miles pre tow.
Bulletproof hitch is very sturdy, but it is a bit loose in rams factory 2.5 inch receiver. I did have to make a metal shim and add a tightening locking pin.

Before I ditch the wdh I think will try driving it in regular air suspension height instead of trailer alt height.
The trailer is so light the air suspension might not need to compensate?

I would agree with this. I ran the suspension at alternate height once and I was fighting sway.

I agree with trying different truck settings.

Side note. You never mention what WD you have. Does it have integrated sway control? You must have purchased the WD adapter from Bulletproof. I’ve not dealt with factory Air Ride but did use the BP setup with Fastway E2 square friction bars on a 8k TT behind my 2500 and it was a great ride.

Yes- im going to try ball height same, just dont turn on alt height.
If that doesnt work ,lift the ball 1 1/4 inch (the next hole up in shank.

I have husky wdh from 2013. Dont know the model #…I added one of those side sway bars from harbor freight much later

I had to step up the shank from 2 to 2.5 to fit ram. Its a 2.5 > 2 and works well, but like i said there was a lot of slop there so i tightened it up.
