Hello everyone, this is REALLY new to me, both with the thread and the ARRIVAL OF MY NEW 2022 3500 HD, MAX TOW, everything.....to the 9s, right? That's what I thought, but in the ordering and translation part of it a little thing was not checked...….you might say, "Lost in Translation". So, how many of you out there would throw the deal away over SAFETY.... Let me explain. I dropped over $91,000... What's another $2,000????? Ok, the Item not CHECKED is SAFETY GROUP with Adaptive Cruise Control..... So I ask you all, as a first time threader, What is a Man to do.....? Can you still put Adaptive Cruise Control on a Full Loaded trucks? Ok I'll take any advice...…Just as long as it is kind...…and useful.

Do you really need adaptive cruise control?

I've had it in my Hyundai Genesis sedan and it was a pain. While it was good at times, at other times I was hitting the brakes as I didn't think it would slow down and I was getting too close to the car in front. Just as I was hitting the brakes, the ACC would also hit the brakes which then thru us forward as it was breaking hard.

Does the truck have the regular cruise control?

Do you really need the ACC because you are not paying attention to the traffic around you?

Just some food for thought. Not trying to pick on you or be "that guy".

Me, I can live without it after having used it on my car. My Power Wagon does not have it and I am fine with it.
But I've also driven for decades without a cruise control in my vehicles and survived just fine. ;)
 
What exactly is going to be missing, The entire safety group or just the adaptive cruise? I do appreciate things like the blind spot warning (but could live without it) but adaptive cruise is something I would not even want so if that is all it is missing I say carry on.
